Sorry, the topic shifted.
I'm not talking about gcc, but about bcc (Bruce's C-Compiler).
I haven't checked out the 16-bit part of gcc yet.

Note, I got interested in bcc _because of_ its severe limitations.
I took them as a challenge. That's also how I rediscovered FreeDOS,
which I hadn't touched for years.
