I know of the Windows binaries for FreeRDP, but that's not what my question is about: I'm really trying to understand the protocol differences between Hyper-V RDP and general RDP, as I'm trying to implement a network-level proxy to be able to connect to a VM shell using an (existing) RDP client which I can't influence/reprogram/change to something else. Using FreeRDP is - alas - not an option in my scenario.
