Hi

you can use mris_expand to do this, although of course we just divide up the space evenly since we don't know where the actual laminar boundaries are.

cheers
Bruce

p.s. e.g.:

mris_expand -t -n 6 lh.white lh.expanded

will write out 6 intermediate surfaces

Hi,
I am pretty new to the Freesurfer. I want to get the idea how the freesurfer
differentiate 6 layers. I have already get the pial/ gray matter,gray/matt
white matter, thickness map, then how to calculate and form the laminars?

Thanks!
