Another framework you could check out is Pigment: https://core.fluendo.com/pigment/trac I don't really know much about it nor how mature it is, but if you're in the early stages of evaluation, you could consider all your options. But probably the most important element of Kaa, the one needed for building interfaces (kaa.candy, the canvas API) isn't at any usable point yet. I need to buckle down and write it -- hopefully during May. But the UI is just one small part of the overall system, and Kaa may meet your other needs.
