Take a look at the patches. They are really simple to understand.
No massive patches. db.h is not unique. You will find a second and
different copy in our staging_dir directory.
This means, that Asterisk 1.4 tries to fetch the wrong header file.
Maybe we will find a better way soon, but first we need to have a
working compilable base package. After that we will add more
features.

All the other patches are minimalistic and needed to get Asterisk
1.4 compiled. If you prefer 1.2, I see no problem in adding both
versions. package/asterisk12

We will integrate MISDN and ZAP as soon as we have the hardware to
test again. The Asterisk is WiP and will be finished in a few weeks.

Simple build patches without changing the semantic of the binaries 
does not need to be documented. They need to be send to upstream to
get fixed.
