hello,
sorry, I replied yeseterday, but due to a mail account error, it was refused.

you can get the texi files here:

http://ftp.frugalware.org/pub/frugalware/frugalware-current/docs/texi/en_US/

(just checked, po4a still does not (yet) support texi files :/ )

ok thx.
It may take some time, but I'd begun the translation
that was fast! :)

In fact I'd some times at work yesterday while trying ubcd2usb scripts, so it was faster than usually
seems to work:
$ LC_ALL=fr_FR pacman
error: aucune cible spécifiée (utiliser -h pour de l'aide)

hum.. "error" isn't translated, but I couldn't find it untranslated in the po file? May it be hardcoded? (Or should I recheck until I found it?)
darcs get --partial http://darcs.frugalware.org/repos/pacman

then modify src/pacman/po/fr.po and/or lib/libalpm/po/fr.po

finally "sh autogen.sh --dist"

and then you'll have the darcs version of pacman installed, you'll be
able to test the updated translations

thanks, I'll give it a try soon

Sorry if there's mistakes with headers (or other), that's the first time I translate
something for somebody

just a hint: use msginit -l fr_FR to create the initial fr.po

ok thx, I'm using it for frugalwareutils

3) frugalwareutils (the configuration tools)

should I use "hu.po" files as a model?

get the repo:
darcs get --partial http://darcs.frugalware.org/repos/frugalwareutils

in every /po dir, you can type "make pot" the generate the .pot
file, then you can use the usual "msginit -l fr_FR"

works fine, thanks again
the only exception is the /netconfig/doc dir, there you should run
"po4a po4a.cfg" to generate the pot file

ok :)

an other question, should I post translations files for frugalwareutils here? or maybe on BTS?
Should I left named "fr.po" or rename it depending on directory where I found it?
