Like Steve, I'm in the middle of Fusedocing a project even as we 'speak'. The question to ask those who think Fusedocs are a waste of time is how much time they spend integrating their application after the code is written. If they're using Fusebox- style coding, they're most likely spending a lot of time going back and forth between, for example, qry fuses and dsp fuses, making sure variable names match, recordsets are structured correctly, and so on.
Additionally, Fusedoc 2.0 gives you the ability to write tools that read the Fusedocs and do very cool management-type things. I'm very close to finishing Harness2 (my apologies to all those who have been waiting--the book got in they way), which automatically generates test harnesses for every fuse in an application based on the Fusedocs. Steve is right; documenting post-development is pointless; Fusedocing up front is powerful. - Jeff On 23 May 2002 at 9:32, Wally Randall wrote: > > I would like to raise an heretical issue.
