I apologize in advance for the relatively general nature of this question but I am having some real problems getting Secure Remote to work correctly.
I'm using NG with AI R55 on a Solaris 9 machine. I got Secure Remote installed on a client and got it to recognize the gateway and I got in with my login and password just fine after having set up the few options available in the default Remote Access community. However, when I connect to the various resources, the results I get are very strange. Sometimes it encrypts and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it lets me in and sometimes it doesn't. The results do seem to be consistent on a per machine basis (if I can get in I can always get in and vice versa) but nothing I do in the rule base seems to change any of the behavior. I've got a lot more study and research to do on this but if anyone can offer some general tips or a link to some good documentation, it would be most appreciated.
