Before I ever even started testing or installed Secure Remote, I broke the
PC off the local LAN and used a dial-up from outside my network so that has
been consistent throughout my testing.

I've been watching Tracker but it doesn't give me any clue as to what is
wrong or why things are doing what they are doing.  Is there something
specific I should be looking for?

If you're switching between a LAN NIC and SR without rebooting, or dial-up &
LAN, etc., the routing table on the computer is probably the culprit. They
get confused when you do stuff like that because they think the old route is
still available.

Does SmartView Tracker show anything?
