It sounds like you had ER R62 running on your SmartCenter. I don't know if
that is or is not permittedi n R65, but I always had my SR/ER server
separate. You don't need to install SmartCenter, just ER. Yes, you then
connect to the ER box directly. That's how I had it set up with ER 62 & 63
while using an R62 SmartCenter.

Subject: [FW-1] Eventia Suite R65
Date: Wed, 27 Jun 2007 14:31:58 +0200
Hi,
Anyone here tried Eventia Suite R65?
I had Eventia Reporter R62 running and I have now installed a brand new
Eventia Suite R65 but I got a couple of questions.
When I wanted to connect to the old Eventia Reporter R62 I connected to
my regular management and it automatically "forwarded" me to the Eventia
server.
In R65 it seems you need to install a new SmartCenter and define it as
Log Server only. When I connect to it I need to connect to the Eventia
Suite server directly.
Is that correct?
Then I guess I also need to change the IP-address on the license.
Regards,
Torkel
