Ok, I did verify from checkpoint that the delay is only for upgrades to 4.1
from previous versions.  And the delay might be longer/shorter for different
customers.  When they told me the permanent license wasn't available yet,
they were referring to my license only.  Other users who are upgrading may
not have any problems.  I just received word that my permanent license has
been issued as well.  Thanks for the info.
