I beg to differ. Checkpoint has come up with permanent licenses for FW 4.1.
I myself have installed a couple of them.

That is correct. Checkpoint does not have permanent licenses yet for 4.1.
They are still working on them. So you will have to use an eval license
until the permanent licenses are available.
