Recently I came across the following performance data at CP's web site
http://www.checkpoint.com/products/firewall-1/pbrief.html
To say the least, I was surprised to find out that NT surpasses the
Nokia platform performance wise, and that the fastest platform is the
Linux newcomer. (pay attention to the fact that the platforms are
different in CPU power and the number of the CPUs)
Is Nokia going to respond by giving us a faster box, after all the box
should be streamlined for routing and firewalling, utilizing the well
known BSD based TCP stack.
Does the list group experience on the field resembles the results CP
got in the lab?

Shimon Silberschlag
