Since there is still movement in the scores, I extended the deadline
to *at least* 2001/12/26 00:00:00 UT

Holes two and three show some interesting golfing. They seem to
have stabilised since yesterday though.

The first hole still seems to be the bane of most players, and no
beginner has yet succesfully finished it. And as you can see from the
scores even some experienced players struggle with it (in particular
Santa who submittted a placeholder entry so he would at least appear
on the damn scoreboard)

For a short time a familiar pattern was developing with Eugene in a
clear lead, but finally Spiff (Karsten Sperling) completed the first
hole correctly and jumped to a clear lead:

        Spiff 133
        Eugene van der Pijll 136
        Suo 138
        Autrijus 188
        Andrew Savige 321

For the moment the ircnet people seem to be defeating the fun-with-perl
crowd. Don't let them get away with that !

Using a combination of ideas of all seen solutions I can construct
solutions that add up to 130, so it's still possible to beat everybody.

To give people a hint on which hole they should work on, the best known
scores per hole are from:

hole 1 Bob (the artificial player)
hole 2 Eugene van der Pijll
        hole 3 Spiff
