Dennis, I use my FW2Go card with OS 8.6->OS X. Bottom line: IT WORKS! Yes, newer is out of business but this card has been flawless for me - works perfectly with my iPod. I have gotten way more than my $30 out of it. We bought 3 of them and they are perfect.
