Don't know if this might be of interest for any of you anyway here's my rant: In the end I decided I was going to do the shift after all, so I traded my Bronze Pb for a 500mhz iBook II ... well I now know I did the right thing for sure! Faster, snappier, more responsive, lighter, thinner, prettier (imho).
