You probably don't need a new battery, you just need to condition the battery (i.e., 
completely drain it prior to 
charging).  The easiest way to do this is to use Battery Reset 2.0, which is a system 
extension available from Apple.

The reason is that frequently recharging the battery before it's depleted eventually 
causes it to 'remember' the 
charge that it had just before you started recharging it.  Conditioning fixes this 
problem.
