>From a novice Pismo owner who has been surfing sites for a while: I get the impression that the batteries never last as long as the optimal time claimed by the specs. Then, I've also read that it depends on the demands made on the unit: how many applications at once, how robust the apps are, etc.I've run mine mostly on the adapter, but when I do take it out on the road with batteries (I can use two), I'll have expectations lower than the 5 hours per battery I'm supposed to get. I assume with use and age, the batteries lose a litle staying power. Donald
