Yes it's USF (that is UNIX right?). When I booted from the OSX.1 installer
CD I choose to format the 30GB volume as UNIX (at least that's what I recall
reading during the wee hours of the morning).

The second volume is 7.7GB and is HFS+ with OS9.2.2 installed and all my OS9
applications and files.

As I mentioned, I want to dive in head first with OSX (I hate dipping my toe
in the pool to see if it's safe) and try to stay away from OS9 unless
absolutely necessary.

Did I mention I haven't used OSX prior to this? Well, I did boot into it
once or twice in the last couple months since buying the iBook, but now it's
"damned the torpedoes, full speed ahead!".

I hope I catch on to this fast :^)

As for the need to do any significant work in OS9, I still have it installed
on my desktop machine for now.
