I've heard very good things about the SMC Barricade, and that it supports Appletalk. A local college tech dept. tried for over an hour to get a Compaq laptop (Windows XP) connected via D-Link wireless PC card to their network, and failed. My friend returned the PC card and got a Compaq card instead, and IS had no troubles networking that one. FWIW, we have the Linksys BEFSR41, and have no troubles with it.
