I'd be interested to know your opinion of the speed and behaviour of OS X on the 400MHz tiBook, I'll be in the market for either a iBook or tiBook in April and my choices are 800MHz combo drive 12" iBook (new) or 400MHz tiBook. For reference in NZ, they work out about the same price (NZ$3300). The 15" screen appeals, but does 400MHz cut it? Dan's comments in recent articles infer its getting a bit slow. ( I used to run 10.0.3 on a 233MHz wallstreet and didn't mind the lack of speed). I'm a *nix geek by trade, and it'll be php/mysql, browsers and odd dabbles with Dreamweaver.
