When I upgraded a machine from 10.1.5 to 10.2 it felt like I got an extra 50 mhz or so bump. I'm running 10.2 quite happily on a 466 MHz G4 upgraded Beige G3, and the bus speed of the TiBook is a fair bit faster than this thing, having worked on one at work. OSX does use the Altivec on the G4 to speed things up, and that 15" screen is really nice. The iBook will feel faster than the Ti in a head to head, but it won't be 2X like the CPU speed comparison implies. > -- "Wherever you go, there you are." - B.
