When I first bought my Pismo (new) the distance of the button from the
keyboard, as well as its stiffness and noisiness, prompted me to turn on
trackpad clicking. I didn't use this feature on my PB 1400, but was forced
to get used to it on my Pismo. I've gotten used to it, and now prefer it,
but I wasn't happy when I first was forced to use it. :-) I think that part
of the issue is the button's distance from the keyboard.
