Microsoft will not create a new version of Internet Explorer for Macs in a move that leaves Apple users in an uncomfortable spot.
A poorly written article, filled with personal opinion.
1) There are so many browsers for Mac now that the loss of one, even IE, really isn't going to be a problem.
2) Like many other Mac users, I have not used IE as my regular browser for some three or four years now. iCab under OS 9, and then Omniweb first under OS X, followed by Safari.
3) Safari, while still needing work, is actually an extremely good piece of work for a Beta. I use it as my regular browser, and rarely run into problems.
