I'm not running OSX because the software that I use for my photo
business only runs on OS 9 for now. They have not updated for X yet, but
are working on it.
One question and one comment, The question is what software are you using that hasn't been updated? I ask mainly just out of interest - I keep track of photo software (professional hazard) and I wasn't aware of any major tools that weren't OS X compatible by now.
The comment is a note that many applications run better under OS X. Photoshop 6, for example, is much faster in classic than in OS 9. Add in the stability of the Classic/OS X set up and the multitasking now possible, and it becomes quite a different experience.
