Laurent is correct, the Bluechip was the name given to the Powerlogix
upgrade cards for the G3 powerbooks (Wallstreet, Lombard, and Pismo). They
were fast G3 or later G4 processors (they were daughtercards, you used a
program that came with the and flashed the original rom from Apple's card,
shut down computer, remove original and install Powerlogix card, start-up
and the rom was flashed onto the new card).

Mikael is referring to if the wrong rom was flashed, say it was originally
put in a Wallstreet 1, then pulled and sold to someone with a Wallstreet 2,
it would not work correctly since it has a different rom (roms are model
specific and cannot be used in different models).
