...Airports...early and late...

Hello Everyone, aside from the speed difference, are there any "issues" 
using an early "Graphite" Airport, or a later "Snow" unit with Panther 
10.3.3, regular Airport card, and internet cable modems?  As the 
Airport has only one RJ-45 port, can an ethernet switch be connected 
between the cable modem and the Airport to provide a place for a 
non-wireless Mac to connect to the network?
