: I agree, why would you *want* to run those half-baked, (and : in the case of the Public Beta and 10.0) largely unusable releases?
I have a website being a sort of GUI museum (www.aci.com.pl/mwichary/guidebook) and Mac OS X versions up to and including 10.1 are a fascinating testimony to not only maturing process of Aqua, but also growing out of NeXTSTEP/OPENSTEP/Rhapsody roots. Unfortunately, Pear PC only supports Mac OS X 10.1 and above. Which leads me to another question: there is apparently an emulator (Mac-On-Linux) allowing to launch Mac OS 7-X on a Linux PPC. If I install a PPC Linux on my Mac, would I be able to use it? Does anyone here have any experience with it? I know, on the surface it doesn't make sense -- installing another OS to run Mac OS in a window, while I have it natively in the first place -- but it would be a tremendous help for my gallery, allowing to grab installation/login/shutdown screenshots, as well as older Mac OSes. http://www.maconlinux.org Marcin Wichary e:\> [EMAIL PROTECTED] w:\> www.aci.com.pl/mwichary >> Attached w:\> www.aci.com.pl/mwichary/GUIdebook >> Graphical User Interface gallery w:\> www.10yearsofbeingboring.com >> 10 years of Being Boring w:\> www.usability.pl >> Usability.pl -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
