As far as screen size go, does anyone here have a 14" iBook? Their max resolution is 1024x768, same as the 12", right? Unless you got it for the SuperDrive, why would someone want the extra weight and bulk?
To have a bigger screen!. I have a 14" iBook (the machine I'm using now) and have used a 12" iBook. While the 12" has a very good screen I wouldn't want to stare at it for extended periods.
IIRC you can special order the SuperDrive in an iBook 12".
Why can't they make iBooks display any higher resolutions, anyways?
Because then they would be PowerBooks. Apple runs a fine line between putting enough features in the iBook line and not encroaching on the PowerBook line.
