Of course, there's a fair number of us who still use the Apple II, even on a daily basis. :) > ...come to think of it, I was forced to buy an Apple ][ AND a disk > drive when they came out with DOS3.3! ProDOS! :) The evolution of a computer or processor is going to continue. The thing to remember is that no computer is obsolete as long as it does what YOU want it to do. Myself, I'd rather use an Apple product, regardless of any personal view of specific personnel there, than the wintel boxes I have to use at work. And I'm happy with my 520c, 5300, and AL G4--as well as my //e--they have function and usability for me. Will I get a new machine in the future? Probably. Doesn't mean I wish Apple ill for doing what they have to--expanding their line and their customer base. Later.........................Howard -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
