Hi James,
I took the plunge and installed 3 x 256MB Dimms by NEC
into my G3 233 Rev.1. It was a 'neighbourhood' peecee
store that allowed me to try various Dimms. Did you
try switching slots, mix and match various capacities,
speeds, etc? This worked for me while waiting for the
special delivery NEC Dimms. I was ready to settle for
one compatible "Genesis" brand 256MB Dimm because the
others were only reading 128MB.
Does anyone have any tests I can run to test for SDRAM
compatibility on the G3 beige 233 desktop Rev.1? I
have 10 days for the money back guarantee.
Cheers
George
