        No, didn't try any of those because I didn't know my problems 
were RAM related.

        RAM prices are low enough right now that I am more than 
willing to consign these two RAM modules to the spare parts drawer. 
The (What I now think were RAM related) problems in my Beige G3 drove 
me crazy through several cycles of trying to set the Beige up for 
use, I never really got much use out of it, and was ready to scrap 
it.  I am ready to put good RAM in it and do some work with it 
instead of always working on it.
