could these file have slowed the machine's down though? i still don't get
why connecting from the 8500 to a g4 would be regular speed and while
connecting from the g5 to the 8500 goes at snail pace??
out of interest, how do people share their HD's?? at the moment all the
drives on our machines are available to everyone on the network (there's
only three of us so security isn't to much of an issue.)
i'm thinking of only making my working drive available to others - does
anyone think that this would speed things up??
