I would wait and go for the B&W. It should hold up
much better in the long run, and memory for them is
super cheap right now; much cheaper than for a 7600.
If you have a lot of SCSI peripherals, you will need
to buy a card. Other than that, the B&W is a great
machine. 

I'm a highly upgraded Beige owner holding out for
Apple to design an enclosure that can hold more than
5.25 inch drive before I upgrade.
