This would be the ideal but I'm too much of a cynic to believe that software companies would be that ethical. Their purpose in life is to gouge their consumer for all their worth (isn't that the American dream ;). There may be some (please tell me who... I'll be shocked) that actually sell licences to old software but by and large it's been my experience that they disavow any knowledge of old versions and say you have to buy the newest version (even if it doesn't _run_ on your computer :( -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
