Aha! Indeed I have. The hub is always powered, but maybe that doesn't help. I've got a 
G4 Cube, with only two USB outlets. And, having to use one of them with the Apple Pro 
speakers (I thought Apple said they don't work from a hub), and using both an iMic and 
an USB printer, I opted for letting the keyboard and mouse run via the hub.

Yes, habits are hard on you. I had to change my position of the hand and fingers, as 
iKey has a _very_ wide right-shift key. I don't really know what Macally had in mind 
creating that one.
