Sorry, Larry, I'm late to this thread. I have a Beige
G3 Rev.A running fine with OS 10.1.5 with 768 MB Ram.
I'm not removing anything - I prize the Rev.A mainly
because it was able to avoid the scandalous firmware
upgrades that 'disabled' Ram (even Apple's own).
Now I have jaguar - what next? Did you run the third
party DimmCheck in Classic mode?
