No, I didn't run the DimmCheck but I should have.  Go ahead and try 
the install and if it hangs about half way (who knows how to judge 
that) remove all but 128 meg and install again and it will probably 
install just fine.  Install your ram and everything will be fine.  By 
the way what is the actual size of your dimms?
