Hello folks: I too am interested in what good or bad experience you have with Explorer 5.1. I am still on Explorer 5.0, using OS 9.2.2 on a QuickSilver G4/733. I am not using OS X although 10.1.3 is sitting there.
With both Explorer and Netscape Communicator 4.77, I have been having problems working with .pdf downloads from some web sites and with some of the .pdf pages of web sites where other .pdf pages are OK. I got some improvement with the latest Acrobat Reader for OS 9, but I still get error messages when attempting to open some .pdf pages -- something about IE not being able to negotiate with Acrobat Reader and do I want Acrobat to fix the problem, which it never does.
