Yes.  I use Diskwarrior,  Disk first Aid, Tech Tool Pro for hardware testing
(when I am not using Mac Test Pro) and a virtual arsenal of other
troubleshooting utilities in my line of work.  I NEVER use any of the Norton
Suite of products for ANYTHING.  Except for mini Frisbee's or Coasters.
