GList Why should Apple be allowed to force users to buy new machines because OS X doesnt support half the hardware. Then your forced to buy OS X because software developers are producing non os9 versions of new software.
I hated Microsoft for being monopolists but how many Windows machines have a floppy drive - all of them. The ports of a PC always stay the same, they dont suddenly drop the paralell port for the hell of it or lose the serial port just to force people to buy new machines. Each new Mac brought out has lost something from its predecessor meaning even if you buy over priced mac-compatible third party hardware you cant keep it for long coz chances are it wont work on a mac in a years time.
