Yet, for me, always using one Mac or another, I've bought and used
Global Village modems the whole time, starting with their little plain
pack'o'smokes sized modems, back in the late '80s, thru all their Fax
Modems, up to and including their V.92 modem, which I use now. All have
worked just fine...
So, to make an all-encompassing statement like that is just plain incorrect.
It may have been crap to you, but it's been a great little modem to me.
