I have a APC CS 500 on my beige that I purchased from Office Depot. $49.86 after two mail in rebates ($20. $10.) It came with two cables: (And also a really nice Surg strip) Parallel and USB. The CD disk has OS X software that puts an icon in the system Prefs under a new heading called "Other". I believe there is an OS 9 program too, along with PC stuff. The OS X program lets you adjust the minutes it can stay on until it will shut down the computer. Happy to have found one that works on Macs! James

My cable looked funky too, until I read the instructions, and finally called tech support! -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
