Pretty sure it was a standard installer. Since I'm not a command line junky, if it was a shell installer I woulda noticed!

In answer/comment to many other posts about the cables: My UPS has a ethernet type data port (as well as two other ports of similar nature). The cable is RJ-45 on one end and USB A on the other. That's the cable that tells the puter that the power is out and it's gotta shut down when the batt gets low...
