The reason I say this is that finding a company that does Macs decently is hard enough.
DSL or Coax goes into a modem, ethernet comes out. Plug it into your Mac. Turn on PPPoE if the telecom requires it on their xDSL service. Done.
But the thing that *really* got my attention is your mentioning their support of the shared connection setup. From what I can tell, very few ISPs are willing to support networking.
NAT Routers are so simple. Their doc is usually thinner than your Macs!
Who cares if the ISP "supports" Macs or NAT Routers?
What type of handholding are you looking for?
