There are now three hard drives installed. > > Since this kind of upgrade is more normal, perhaps, with an intel/amd box, I think your concerns should be centred on a power supply that is adequate which would take care of both potential problems, heat and lack of power to your drives etc. I was having problems with my very loaded AMD (this one) and found that adding a 350-400 watt enermax power supply changed everything. No more blue screens and no more locking up or shutting off from heat. The ps has two fans plus I have several on the board and one on the side of the case plus one on the ATI 9500 video card. More and more Mac users seem to be pushing their boxes to the limit and I think that a good PS is certainly the way to go BEFORE you run into problems with heat and parts not getting enough juice. The ps I got was 65 bucks but it is certainly worth it.
