Yes. And I've run Panther on two Beige G3s. However, as even mentioned on the XPF site, there are still some issues with Beige video that haven't been fully worked out. It's one of those "it might work great for you, suck for the next, then work great for the next three."

Whatever the issue is, it's rather random and that makes it hard to get it 100%. I'm just saying, have a backup solution (in this case, a Radeon card) in case the machine decides that it doesn't like you very much and wishes to make your life a living heck. :D

Strangely enough, I've always had way more problems running 10.2.8 than I ever did running Panther.

I am running Panther on a 333 G3 DT and take excpetion to Rob's
comment re: video support. I have had virtually no problems using the
onboard ATI Rage Pro video. Admittedly I have had to use SwitchResX
(http://www.madrau.com/) to allow me to use "alternate" video modes
not made available natively by OS X (I have a pretty sorry monitor on
this system). True, I can't use Quartz Extreme, but I'm not losing any
sleep over that. Running 10.3.6 via XPostFacto 3.0b10 like a dream.
