I have posted on this very subject more than once, and all I get is "try another browser". Why should I? The browser ain't the problem. Netscape won't load PayPal properly now either (B&W G3 Rev A OS9.2, IE 5.1.5, 5.1.7, Netscape 7.0.2).

I don't know what the exact technical reason for your problem is here but, WOW, your attitude!

What attitude??

You want to stay with an OS and Browsers that have not been supported in years by their developers

IE 5.1.7 is hardly old. Same for NS 7.0.2.

and then expect businesses to stay at that level of old technology even though most of the rest of the world has moved ahead? Encryption methods are/will be advancing for our benefit as well as HTML formats and other web content.

What is wrong with compatibility? Websites could easily be made to remain compatible with older browsers, I bet.

I suppose you get upset about those old VW parts not being readily available for you or outrageously priced when you can find them, too?

Haven't needed to, so far. It helps that I'm replacing the drivetrain and much of the electrics ("German superiority") with Japanese, so I shouldn't NEED to look for parts. Any remaining VW parts I can get new from numerous sources; my bus only went out of production in South Africa a year or so ago.

And do you get mad when you can't find your favorite music on cassette tapes any longer?

Nope. I hardly ever listen to music, but do have a few CDs. I even have a CD player or two to play them on.

IE will open eBay just fine, though.

Loading a page 20 times is "just fine" ?

Did I say it was? I said EBAY. I don't bother with PayPal any more (yes, I know eBay owns PayPal).

Even in OS X on my iBook I occasionally have found that IE and Safari pages don't appear to load fully or at all. If I click and drag my cursor across the blank page everything appears magically. I have plenty of RAM (640 MB) so I don't know if it's a cache related thing or what. I use Firefox most of the time now and rarely have a problem.

Try to contact PayPal... you can't. There is no contact address.

There is but apparently you can't load it! <https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_contact_us>
Besides it's a crappy email web form page and you must be logged-in. Just for the hell of it try [EMAIL PROTECTED], just might work!
Here's a US phone number for support 402-935-2050 10AM-4PM Pacific Standard Time and 6A - 8 P on Sat./Sun - - Mike

I have managed to load the help & contacts pages fully. There was NO option for contact (except phine #, which I am NOT going to use from overseas) by e-mail. But I'll check out your link, thanks.
