Chris, how hard is it to change the back plane to fit the new board? I've been thinking about this mod myself, but don't want to go through what I did with my frankenMac! Is it just a direct swap for the one that actually goes with the sawtooth board?
Just a message from Doug... I took the backplane out of mine altogether. For the standoffs I put double sided tape (actually the same stuff that was holding down the IDE cable for the CD-ROM under the mobo) on top of the stand-offs that didn't have holes.
