OK, thanks. I'm very grateful to y'all for this. The timing was right-on. By this time next week, I will have Tiger installed with no OS9 onboard at all. If I had done that already (came very close a few days ago), it would have been a real PITA to get the patch installed.

OTOH, there is every possibility the patch has actually already been installed.

How can I tell?
